Treetops Collective - Grand Rapids, Michigan

Located in a converted warehouse in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this project supports the mission of Treetops Collective - a nonprofit dedicated to helping New Americans find belonging, purpose, and community through showcasing their craft. The design transforms the existing industrial shell into a warm, flexible environment that houses a coffee shop, retail space, and adaptable work areas that highlight the creativity and cultural expression of the collective. Guided by a modest budget, the approach focused on clarity and approachability, using simple materials to create a welcoming space. The scope also included the design of the coffee shop’s logo and branding, further tying the visual identity to the values of the organization.
